Ensenada, Mexico
Westside has been partnering with our sister church, Cristo Vive! Church in Ensenada, Mexico, for over 15 years. Led by Dave and Laura Friestad, this long-term relationship has become a cornerstone of our missions outreach. Over the years, teams from Westside have served in Ensenada through building projects, neighborhood outreach, and Vacation Bible School programs for local children. These trips are all about sharing the love of Jesus in tangible ways—through service, presence, and connection. We’ve also teamed up with other churches to bring Medical Missions to the area, offering clinics at local churches, as well as ministering in prisons and hospitals. This partnership reflects our heart for missions: long-term relationships, meaningful service, and joining God in the work He’s already doing in communities around the world.
Macedonia Ministry
One of our current global relationships is with Glasnost Church in Skopje, Macedonia. Led by Pastor Kristijan Kalinov, Glasnost is a vibrant community of believers committed to deeply investing in their region while remaining connected to what God is doing globally. Their ministry is rooted in building strong, encouraging relationships among local believers, serving the poor, feeding the hungry, and making faithful disciples of Jesus in the heart of Macedonia. Their passion for both local impact and global connection resonates deeply with us at Westside. We are honored to walk alongside them in friendship, prayer, and support as they continue to share the love and hope of Christ in their community.

Loving our neighbors starts close to home. Westside is honored to partner with and support a number of local ministries throughout our county that are making a meaningful impact every day. Whether it’s offering food and shelter, mentoring youth, supporting families, or caring for those in crisis, these local partnerships allow us to live out the love of Jesus in practical and powerful ways.
