Are you stealing God’s glory?

Did you know that there is a way for you to steal glory from God?  Did you know that you can rob Him of honor, praise, and thanks that should be given to Him?  It’s really not that difficult to understand.  When God does good things and we fail to give Him the glory due to Him, we in effect, are robbing Him.

How often have we asked Him for something and He answered in a timely way?  When was the last time He healed us from a sickness or injury?  Did He come through for you recently by increasing your wages or helping you find work?  Has He restored a broken relationship?  Did He give you wisdom when you needed it?  Did He strengthen you when you were down?  Did He forgive your sin just because you asked?  Come on now . . . isn’t God good?

Isn’t He AWESOME ??!!

Then, why not tell someone?  Why not take every occasion to tell people how wonderful He is?  Why do we have such a difficult time sharing of His faithfulness, love, and mercy?  He died for us – can’t we live for Him?

I would like to encourage you to take every opportunity – take every chance that presents itself . . . to give glory to God!  He deserves it.  We know it.  Give it to Him!  Honor Him.  Extoll His virtues.  Share of His goodness.

Twitter it.

Facebook it.

Email it.

Phone it.

Write a letter.

TELL SOMEONE!

Next time there is an opportunity to give a praise report, give it.  Be ready in an instant to share of His good deeds.  I encourage you, share with your church leaders.  Ask them if you can share it to the whole church.  Email me praise reports.  It is a tremendous encouragement to me personally when I hear of God’s goodness.

Seriously, let’s give God the honor due to Him!

Love you Guys,

Steve 🙂

Sing a new song to the LORD! Let the whole earth sing to the LORD! 2 Sing to the LORD; praise his name. Each day proclaim the good news that he saves. 3 Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does. 4 Great is the LORD! He is most worthy of praise!  Ps 96:1-4
