Jesus had loved, equipped and poured into His Disciples while He was on the earth. Jesus ascended to Heaven and He left the church and the telling of the Gospel with these faithful men. 2,000 years later we continue to be entrusted with this Gospel to be shared through His church! God's plan for the church, the family and us is all wrapped up in the Gospel that we are to spread.

The Power and Presence of the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples, then they turned the world upside down with the early church! Peter, Steven and Paul had something to say to the people in our passage in Acts - their testimony to what Jesus said and how He changed their lives. They preached boldly by the power of the Holy Spirit! We've got something to say! You've got something to say!! Open your mouths and tell what Jesus did for you!!

Logan brings a message on Christ’s Resurrection. Three points on his resurrection, 1)The Empty Tomb, 2)Jesus Appears, and 3)The Great Commission points out that “This Changes Everything”. Why is the resurrection so important? Because this offers proof of who Jesus was. Jesus defeated death through the Resurrection, and destroyed our fear of it!

Jesus carefully instructed His disciples of what was to come and ended with a demonstration in prayer telling them to watch and pray! We must be watchful - be ready! He is coming back! Tell others! Don't be lulled into complacency!

Jesus not only taught His Disciples while He walked on this earth, but He also demonstrated what He taught. Today's message describes 3 of the areas Jesus taught in: how to Live, how to Listen and how to Love! He has also taught US through His Word how to live, listen and love. We need to apply His Word and obey Him radically!!
