Westside Church is serious about serving our community.
We are a "Safe Families" church. Safe Families for Children is a nationally recognized ministry that acts as a "preventive measure" or a "step before" putting children into the "system." As a church we support the family and the child in an effort to serve the family's immediate needs and keep them together. Families in our church will either take a child in their home or act as a support for those who do.
In addition, we financially support:
"The Upper Room" that feeds the disadvantaged daily;
"Hope House" that helps moms and their kids get back on their feet:
and we support those that are in crisis pregnancies.
Our folks serve throughout the community in all walks of life and in whatever ways they can by representing the goodness and generosity of God.

that brings all of its people - young & old, rich & poor, married and single - into all of God’s principles and ways, resulting in faithful stewardship, generosity, liberty and maturity.
that exhibits true, Biblical worship of God.
where each individual is trained, equipped and released for service.
where each one discovers their gifts and finds their destiny in God so they can make an impact in the area God has placed them.
that relies on the Holy Spirit for direction, power, revelation, and impartation of gifts.
that demonstrates our love for Jesus and His love for the world in practical ways such as meeting the needs of the poor, challenging injustice, visiting the sick, caring for the widowed, orphaned, jailed & reaching the unsaved.
